Education remains a vital component for children’s development. We’ve noticed that many children are struggling to meet the basic school requirements despite the free Education programme, UPE, and USE. Still, many children are reported to be dropping out of school due to financial demands from schools coupled with poverty especially among rural communities.

CaRNaC Uganda is mandated to contribute to the reduction of Child Exploitation in Uganda, through its education and sponsorship programme, conducted identification and recruitment of vulnerable children in Busia( Buyanga and Masaba sub-counties) and Bugiri district (Buwuni TC and Buluguyi sub-county).

Under this programme the organization identified and recruited 160 primary school vulnerable children and 48 secondary vulnerable students from Busia and Bugiri District, the organization is committed to providing financial support to the children through contributing to their fees and offer guidance and mentorship programmes through the child rights clubs which will be formed in due course and this will help the children to learn more about their rights, roles and responsibilities as they pursue their education.
