vocational &Skills Development

We believe that education is a powerful tool in breaking the cycle of poverty and eliminating child labor. Our education and vocational training program is designed to empower vulnerable children and youth particularly those at risk or victims of child  labor and exploitation by providing them with access to formal education and practical skills that open doors to lifelong opportunities.

Internship Placements for Vocational Students

We recognize that hands-on experience is crucial for vocational students to transition from training to employment. Through our wide network of partner organizations, workshops, and businesses, we help vocational students secure internship placements in various fields such as carpentry, tailoring, hairdressing, welding, plumbing, mechanics, and more.

These internships provide students with essential on-the-job experience, build their confidence, and expose them to real work environments, greatly increasing their chances of future employment.

For our vocational graduates, learning doesn’t end at graduation. CaRNaC Uganda continues to support them by linking them with job opportunities through a robust network of partner companies and organizations.

We have established trusted relationships with employers who recognize the value of our graduates and often absorb them when employment opportunities arise. Our goal is to help young people transition smoothly into the workforce, achieve financial independence, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
